Week 2- ISO and Shutter Speed

F.4 ISO 1600
Shutter Speed 1/80

F.4 ISO 1600

Shutter Speed 1/200

this challenge was really hard becuase the lighting in my kitchen is pretty non-existant. I had to bump up the ISO horribly, and although the larger shutter speed worked, the 1/80 but in order to get it really small, (making the water look flowey) i would need way more lighting. Not gunna happen. Ill try this again outside when it gets warmer.

aperture

I thought i would take what i learned last week about aperture and my camera settings and try and get something i love outside... this one made me smile :) brightning up a gray day. I love the snow and gray days and finding all the amazing sights it brings. bright red berriees standing up to the ice and snow. Thats how i feel. always fighting against the world to be the best i can.

Yes i was an art therapy major in college so sometimes my pictures will reflect that. anways, back to the point. I like how blurry the background is and the icy berries make them look so shiny. please let me know what you think?

week 1. appature

so playing with appature setting. this last photo is the lowest my camera would go. f 3.5

The first image is an 11 and the second is 4.5 zoomed out a little more. I had a hard time keeping the pictures from getting blurry when the shutter speed slowed down so much to let the more light in. Maybe a tripod would have gotten them a little clearer but i just thought that since the shutter speed was still on auto that it would adjust itself from me changing the f stop? i dont know
